Now available for pre-order: more colour for your PS5 with the Hyperpop Collection
The new Hyperpop Collection gives your Playsi setup an eye-catching look with striking colour gradients.
The dual-sense controller is available in numerous designs. With the Hyperpop Collection, three more eye-catching colours have now been added. The controllers are characterised by a striking colour gradient: A bright red, a garish neon green or a deep sky blue each merge into black. The lower half of the controller is completely in the primary colour, including the sticks. Sony also picks up on the colour tone in the button labels.
Matching Hyperpop covers in the same colours are available for the console itself. A nice detail is the Playstation logo in the primary colour, which stands out well against the black surroundings.
According to designer Leo Cardoso, the colours are inspired by RGB lighting in gaming rooms. A special coating ensures a glossy surface.
Features of the dual-sense controller
Except for its eye-catching appearance, the wireless controller offers the same features as other dual-sense controllers, including:
- Haptic feedback: The controller uses slight vibrations to simulate different weapons, raindrops or different ground conditions in racing games, for example.
- adaptive triggers: The resistance of the trigger buttons adapts to the game situation, which means that, for example, drawing a bow requires more force the further you press the button.
- A built-in microphone
- A 3.5 millimetre jack connection for your headset
You can recharge the controller's internal battery via USB-C. You can continue to use the controller in the meantime.
