AMD 3000G To Update ASRock DeskMini X300M BIOS to 1.70

The ASRock DeskMini X300M I ordered earlier (together with an AMD 5700G), unfortunately had a downlevel BIOS, v. 1.40, so I ordered this AMD 3000G merely to be able to update the BIOS to v. 1.70. And this worked perfectly well (as described by others on the Internet). Please note that the Digitec description says "Raven Ridge", but the manufacturer ID was correct for a "Picasso", so that this 3000G was able to run on the X300M, and thus able to allow me to update the BIOS upgrade.

I've kept the 3000G, but am now running the 5700G on the X300M, and this performs really well !

    Wie @cbsgpjj benutzte ich die CPU ebenfalls nur zum BIOS Update vom Asrock X300. Mit einem AMD 5600G bootet das Asrock nicht. Alternativ kann mit einem Raspberrypi und einer Clip Zange das BIOS per SPI geflasht werden.
    Weil     ich die CPU nicht mehr benötige, gebe ich sie wieder zurück, in der Hoffnung jemandem anders eine Greude zu bereiten. Die Verpackug war bereits geöffnet, was mir aber egal war. Gut gibt es solch Angebote!
