Helpful answer
In principle, the Weapons Act (WG) applies. It stipulates what is considered a weapon and what is not.

Weapons declaration:
- Firearms (such as pistols, revolvers, rifles, pump action rifles, lever action rifles, self-loading weapons (shotguns and rifles)).

- Compressed air and CO2 weapons (with a muzzle energy of at least 7.5 joules, or if there is a risk of confusion with a firearm).

- Imitation, alarm and soft-air weapons (if there is a risk of confusion with a firearm)

- Knives (butterfly knives, throwing knives, one-handed knives with automatic mechanism, if total length > 12 cm and blade length > 5 cm)

- Daggers (with symmetrical blade < 30 cm)

- Devices designed to injure people (baton, throwing star, brass knuckles,
slingshot with arm rest)

-Electroshock devices, spray products (all electroshock devices as well as spray products with irritants according to Annex 2 Weapons Ordinance (WV), except for pepper spray)

According to the Weapons Act, all other "weapons" are not weapons that must be reported, licensed or even prohibited.

Therefore, no minimum age can be specified. In the case of persons who are not yet of age, the parental authority has the duty to check and exercise due care, or the parental authority is liable.
