Power supply can be provided via network cable from a router or recorder (Power over Ethernet, PoE) – especially useful in hard-to-reach installation locations, saving installation costs.

Efficient commissioning and smart video surveillance. The camera automatically distinguishes between people and vehicles, only recording and alerting users about what matters to them. This, combined with strong data compression, ensures very efficient storage usage (recorder, NAS, or microSD card). Even the setup is streamlined: the camera's user interface can be quickly accessed via PC/browser or recorder/monitor using the ABUS IP Installer, allowing the first live image to be viewed in just a few minutes. Individual settings can also be made quickly (e.g., schedules, privacy zones, etc.).

Strong WDR function and IR LEDs for sharp images at all times. The IP camera handles fluctuating light conditions well, such as strong backlighting in entry areas or generally outdoors (WDR 120 dB). It also features infrared LEDs for good visibility in darkness/night.

Mobile app access. Users receive a push notification for motion alerts via the ABUS Link Station app. The Pro version of the app offers unlimited mobile access. The Lite version is free: up to 60 minutes/month of data streaming (live view/playback).
