Tool-free, unshielded (UTP) ALANTEC keystone jacks are used to establish connection points and patch panels in internal installations as well as in horizontal and vertical ICT networks that are not exposed to the risk of electromagnetic interference.
The tool-free solution allows for the entire transmission path to be set up without the use of special tools. The installation process is quick and convenient; based on our experience, the assembly of such jacks takes only a third of the time compared to a standard version with a tool system.
Depending on the installer’s preferences, the sockets can also be completed using the traditional method or with a tool.
Thanks to special universal mounts, they can be installed in all elements such as empty patch panels, wall, and floor boxes.
An important design advantage: Plugging in RJ11 and RJ12 telephone plugs does not damage the jack, as the special design ensures that the contact pins are not deformed.
Tested in the independent testing laboratory INTERTEK.
