You will be notified of any detected movement. Since you have the option to set monitoring zones, unnecessary motion alerts are avoided by excluding areas with natural movement in the camera's field of view, such as trees or bushes swaying in the wind, as well as areas with road traffic. After all, you probably don't want to be alerted every time a completely natural movement occurs.

You can also feel secure in the dark with the Alecto DVC166IP, as the Wi-Fi camera features infrared lighting that provides night vision up to 12 meters.
