Alphacool CKC is a high-performance coolant specially designed for PC water cooling applications. CKC is based on materials with many years of proven suitability for use in harsh industrial environments, resulting in a mature product in a new field of application. CKC contains a special and highly effective copper corrosion protection, does not include ethylene glycol, ethanediol, or similar additives, offers the full heat capacity of water, and suppresses and fights algae and bacteria growth, along with additional inhibitors against corrosion.

Alphacool CKC maintains the full heat capacity of water by dispensing with typical antifreeze agents, although it can be mixed with them. Coolants based on antifreeze must contain at least 25% antifreeze to suppress algae growth, which reduces heat capacity. CKC is compatible with copper, brass, nickel plating, chrome plating, anodised aluminium, Plexiglas (PMMA), POM, and plastics for pump housings such as PPS-GF40 and PUR, PVC Tygon®, and Masterkleer® tubing.

Alphacool CKC is odourless and transparent, non-irritating, does not require any hazard designation, and does not require labelling due to EC Directives/Ordinance on Hazardous Substances. The usual precautions for handling chemicals must be observed. It is non-flammable, non-self-flammable, non-explosive, biodegradable, and non-water-hazardous.

Note: As this coolant contains dyes, it may discolour clothing or other substances on contact. Dyes may fade over time, and therefore the intensity of the color can decrease.
