The Amazon Echo Pop seems a little out of place in the Echo portfolio - at least if you buy it at the regular price. Compared to the Echo Dot 5, the newcomer is inferior in terms of sound and also lacks extras such as the temperature sensor or the optional display. Nor does it offer any real special features, such as battery operation or a jack connection.
