The HPE 1420 switch series includes four models: 10/100/1000 with 16 ports, 10/100/1000 with 24 ports and two SFP Gigabit ports, 10/100/1000 with 24 ports, 12 of which are PoE+ capable (124W PoE budget), and 10/100/1000 with 24 ports and two SFP+-10GbE ports. Gigabit Ethernet is currently the most widely recommended and deployed network technology that delivers ten times the performance of Fast Ethernet.
