The Avaya Ethernet Routing Switch Series 4000 is a high-performance system. The stackable chassis is designed for convergence, providing security and extreme durability. The system is available in 17 model variants. It supports 10/100 and 10/100/1000 switching and routing, Power-over-Ethernet, Power-over-Ethernet+, and 10 Gigabit Ethernet uplink options. This makes the Ethernet Routing Switch Series 4000 ideally suited for floor distribution in enterprises as well as for other technically demanding network installations. With version 5.7, Fabric Connect services are now also available in the ERS 4800 hardware family. This allows for the expansion of Avaya's data center or campus solutions to the floor distribution. Fabric Connect can be implemented on individual devices of the ERS 4800 product family as well as on pure (non-mixed) ERS 4800 stacking configurations.
