The FRITZ!Repeater 600 operates in the WLAN N band (2.4 GHz), which is characterised by its long range. Where previously structural obstacles or distances restricted the wireless connection, the Internet can now be used anywhere in the home network. Televisions, tablets, PCs and smartphones are provided with a stable wireless connection and the bandwidth of up to 600 MBit/s ensures fast data transmission.

In combination with a FRITZ!Box, the FRITZ!Repeater 600 becomes part of a powerful mesh network. In a Wi-Fi mesh, several distributed Wi-Fi nodes (e.g. FRITZ!Box and FRITZ!Repeater) are combined into a single intelligent Wi-Fi network - like a mesh. The FRITZ!Box actively controls all access points so that Wi-Fi devices used in the home network are always logged on to the access point with the best connection (Wi-Fi Mesh Steering). Streaming, gaming and downloads are seamlessly available in every corner of every room. The entire Wi-Fi network conveniently has just one name, one password and is securely encrypted.
