Gigabit LAN, USB 3.0 and the telephone system with DECT base station and connections for ISDN and analogue telephones complete the versatile communications offering.

The FRITZ!Box 6890 LTE operates in five LTE and two UMTS frequencies and supports roaming for surfing in all mobile networks. Speeds of up to 300 MBit/s can be achieved via both LTE and DSL. It can also be used with any DSL connection. With VDSL super vectoring, the FRITZ!Box already supports the future standard for transmission speeds of up to 300 Mbps. This triples the speed on the DSL connection and downloads of huge data packs are carried out at record speed. The FRITZ!Box 6890 LTE can be used with both IP and conventional DSL connections (optionally also with analogue or ISDN telephony) from all suppliers.

With its innovative WLAN equipment, the FRITZ!Box 6890 LTE is ideal for a home network with a large number of WLAN devices. The advanced multi-antenna method (4x4 Multi-User MIMO) enables an optimal connection to multiple Wi-Fi devices used simultaneously. At the same time, the FRITZ!Box 6890 LTE operates in parallel in the 2.4 GHz (WLAN N) and 5 GHz (WLAN AC) frequency bands thanks to dual WLAN, which effectively provides two WLAN networks and enables data rates of up to 2,533 MBit/s to be achieved in total. This means that broadband-intensive applications can be used in parallel and on multiple WLAN devices - without any loss of speed or stability. Multi-user MIMO further increases the data throughput in the home network and WLAN devices that also support MU-MIMO benefit from maximum speed thanks to simultaneous data transmission.
Telephony options for every requirement
Analogue and ISDN telephones and up to six DECT cordless telephones (e.g. FRITZ!Fon) can be registered on the integrated telecommunications system. Smartphones also become fully-fledged landline/VoIP telephones via WLAN. Several integrated answering machines, local and online telephone directories and numerous convenient functions round off the wide range of telephony features of the FRITZ!Box 6890 LTE. The DECT base station can also be used to control smart home devices such as the FRITZ!DECT 200 and 210 switchable sockets.
