For those who need an additional LAN port on their laptop or desktop PC, or do not have an RJ45 socket that supports Gigabit LAN but still want to connect to the network at speeds of up to 1,000 Mbps, the AXAGON ADE-TRC Gigabit Ethernet 10/100/1000 Adapter offered here can achieve that.

The black adapter connects to the computer via USB 3.1 Type C. On the other end, you plug in the network cable. An integrated Realtek RTL8153 chip handles the conversion of data from RJ45 to USB. The adapter also supports Full Duplex Flow Control.
