The AXIS 30 W Midspan is a 1-port midspan that can provide up to 30 W for a network device. It is compliant with IEEE 802.3af (15 W) and IEEE 802.3at (30 W), ensuring compatibility with most Axis network products that have integrated PoE. Power over Ethernet (PoE) offers a simple, fast, and cost-effective solution for powering network products. A PoE midspan supplies power and data to the network device with integrated PoE support through a single network cable. Existing Ethernet switches and cabling infrastructure do not need to be replaced.
