The series includes robust, high-quality switches for implementing high-performance 10, 100, and 1000 MBit/s Ethernet ring network structures according to IEEE802.x. The switch allows the establishment of one or more fault-tolerant fiber optic rings through two or more ports. In the event of a disruption, the ring automatically closes in less than 50 ms, increasing system availability. For the backbone, there are four SFP slots available for 100/1000BaseSX/LX/ZX, which can be equipped for either multimode or singlemode.

The switches can also be used as standalone devices, for point-to-point connections, or as connection modules. The extensive capabilities of the management software also allow the use of the switches in systems with high functional requirements for the network. Installation is very quick and easy thanks to the mounting device for DIN rails. The electrical and optical connections are ensured by standardized connectors (RJ45 and LC).
