The robust LT-802GBTME is a high-quality switch designed for implementing powerful Ethernet ring network structures with speeds of 10, 100, and 1000 Mbit according to IEEE 802.x. This device has been specifically developed for industrial environments. The switch enables the establishment of a fault-tolerant fiber optic ring through two ports. In the event of a disruption, the ring automatically closes in less than 50 ms, enhancing the reliability of the system. Two SFP slots for 100/1000BaseSX/LX/ZX are available for the backbone, which can be equipped for either multimode or singlemode fibers.

The switch can also be used as a standalone device, for point-to-point connections, or as a connection module. The extensive capabilities of the management software also allow the switch to be used in systems with high demands on network functionality. Installation is very quick and easy thanks to the DIN rail mounting system. Electrical and optical connections are ensured through standardized connectors (RJ45 or LC).
