With ten stops of light reduction, this gray filter offers an enhancement over the B+W ND 106. This filter is often used for experimentation. Flowing water appears to blend into a mist. Moving people in squares and streets blur into indistinctness or become invisible. Some of these are extreme long exposures of up to one minute. The use of a sturdy tripod is required.
