Product details
The full-frame CMOS sensor from Canon enables breathtaking 7K images, dual base ISO (800 / 6,400) and a dynamic range of more than 15 exposure levels. The camera also takes 32 MP photos at up to 40 fps and an ISO value of up to 64,000, as well as 4K videos with oversampling in rich, natural colours.
With Open Gate 12 Bit RAW with 6,960 x 4,640 pixels in 3:2, all visions can be realised. Breathtaking details can be captured in widescreen, portrait or anamorphic format. Switching between full-frame, super 35mm and super 16mm modes is very easy.
The speed, performance and versatility of the RF bayonet are available with fixed focal length, zoom, hybrid and cinema lenses. The RF bayonet is characterised by lenses with first-class optics and enables real-time metadata transfer and fast AF/IS. PL or EF lenses can also be used with a Canon bayonet adapter.
The camera employs the extremely responsive Dual Pixel CMOS AF II with improved face, eye and animal detection and tracking over 100% of the sensor area. In addition, EOS iTRAF X, the AF mode [detection only] as well as the focus assistant and individually configurable focus reaction speeds ensure razor-sharp images with ease.
The camera offers various recording options: scalable 12-bit Cinema RAW Light up to 7K 60p, 4K 120p and 2K 180p as well as 4K oversampling 10-bit XF-AVC (MXF) and XF-AVC S or XFHEVC S (MP4). Card slots for CFexpress type B and UHS-II SD cards enable proxy and multi-format recording for fast, flexible workflows.
