The BlueOptics BO252503K5M 5-meter active optical high-performance cables feature a flame-retardant LSZH fiber jacket (halogen-free, with low smoke emission in case of fire).
Versatile Applications: Compared to Direct Attach Copper (DAC) cable solutions, the hot-pluggable active optical cables are more flexible and lighter. The QSFP connectors have a built-in E/O and O/E converter that transforms the electrical signal into an optical signal. This signal is converted back into an electrical signal and output at the other end of the active optical cable. The QSFP transceiver connections of each BlueOptics BO252503K5M 5-meter active optical cable are manufactured according to MSA standards, considering the SFF-8436 and IEEE 802.3ba specifications.
