The BlueOptics BO272703Q10M 10 metre active optical high-performance cables have a flame-retardant LSZH fibre sheath (halogen-free, with low smoke emission in case of fire). Versatile applications. Compared to Direct Attach Copper (DAC) cable solutions, the hot-pluggable active optical cables are more flexible and lighter. The SFP28 and SFP28 connectors have a built-in E/O and O/E converter, which transforms the electrical signal into an optical signal. This signal is converted back into an electrical signal and output at the other end of the active optical cable. The SFP28 and active optical cable connections of each BlueOptics BO272703Q10M 10 metre active optical cable are manufactured according to MSA standards, taking into account the SFF-8402 and IEEE 802.3by specifications.
