Product details
Patch cable, 0.5 m, blue. RJ-45 - RJ-45, Cat 6A. S/FTP shielding, cable jacket: halogen-free. Cable type: CU 7702 flex 4P (Category 7). These shielded patch and connection cables feature a shielded RJ45 connector, an injection molding, and a strain relief sleeve in the cable jacket color, as well as a latch protection on both sides. The cable type CU 7702 flex 4P (Category 7) is pair-shielded (PiMF) and has a highly covering copper braid as an overall shield, ensuring excellent NEXT and impedance values. The cables are suitable for the transmission of CATV signals up to 862 MHz due to their very low cable attenuation. The patch cables meet the component standard Category 6A (IEC) and fulfill the channel requirements of Class EA for 10GBase-T transmissions in a cabling run. Halogen-free jacket. Unlike conventional PVC cables, these cables are halogen-free: the dangerous release of halogen-containing combustion gases is thus excluded, and smoke generation is minimized. Halogen-free cables are also flame-retardant and do not exhibit a dangerous ignition cord effect. Screened Foiled Twisted Pair (S/FTP). Screened Foiled Twisted Pair (S/FTP) refers to cables that have a metallic shield around each pair of wires (FTP) and additionally a metallic overall shield (S). Shielded cables exhibit minimal impedance or reactance deviations compared to unshielded ones. The transmission parameters remain relatively constant and better at high frequencies than with UTP cables. Category 6A. Category 6 augmented (Cat 6A) is a standard that arises from the increased bandwidth requirements of 10-Gigabit Ethernet (10 GBASE-T). Cat 6A cables are designed for transmission frequencies up to 500 MHz and lengths up to 100 m, and they are backward compatible with existing categories.
