In this case, it is a dust filter specifically tailored for the top area of the Fractal Design Define R6 case, which easily attaches from the outside of the case to the corresponding opening and adheres magnetically.

Details of the DEMCiflex dust filter for the top area of the Fractal Design Define R6:
No tools or modifications to the case are required for the installation of the DEMCiflex filter, so there are no compatibility restrictions. Since not all fan positions are magnetic, an additional frame is included, which is glued to the back and holds the magnetic filter in place.

The filter itself is made from a tightly woven and durable polyester fabric. This special material is also used in clinics to keep operating rooms dust-free, while the mesh is well-permeable to air, thus only minimally obstructing airflow.
