The EK-Quantum Convection M.2 NVMe is a passive aluminum heatsink for M.2 NVMe Solid State Drives. It is no secret that M.2 NVMe SSDs can easily overheat, leading to throttling and a loss of valuable performance. This heatsink from EK Waterblocks effectively prevents thermal throttling in cases with adequate airflow.

This SSD cooler is easy to install and features a low-profile design that saves space. The heatsink employs a clever design for mounting double-sided SSDs. The backplate can be flipped and realigned with a different set of screws, increasing the distance between the two heatsink plates.

The heatsink is made from CNC-machined aluminum and is coated with nickel. The backplate is also made of aluminum and is black anodized. The EK-Quantum Convection M.2 NVMe is compatible with all single-sided and double-sided 2280 M.2 NVMe SSDs.
