Powerful gaming hardware is best cooled with water. Therefore, the DG-87 supports the installation of a custom water cooling system or an AiO water cooler. Radiators up to 420 mm in length can be installed in the top and right side to manage gaming systems with up to four water-cooled graphics cards and the processor.

To the right of the motherboard tray, there is a removable bracket for reservoirs and pumps. Alternatively, the drive cages at the bottom next to the power supply can be removed to create space for reservoirs and pumps. Additional radiators can be mounted on the left side at the flap, but hard tubes cannot be used here.

A unique feature of the DG-87 is that the motherboard's back panel is located inside the case and is concealed by the flap on the left side. At the back, there is a rubberized opening for routing cables outside. An internally routed HDMI cable connects the HDMI port at the front with the HDMI output of the graphics card. This feature makes the DG-87 particularly attractive for connecting a VR headset.
