Extralink PLC 1:8 0.9 mm Fiber Optic Splitter with SC/APC Connectors. Fiber optic splitters are used in FTTH networks, where the internet is delivered to customers via fiber optics. The signal is routed from the server room to the customer's end device without changing the transmission medium. This technology's uniqueness requires that the signal be distributed to customers without the use of additional active devices.

The PLC splitter provides a symmetrical 1:8 power split with both input and output ports. The compact steel housing allows for easy installation in switches and fiber optic couplers.

The splitter is built on a thin 0.9 mm pigtail cable, making installation in various types of organizers easier.

The product is packaged in blister packs to prevent cable tangling.
