The 3D plastic Nylon PA12 + GF15 from Fiberlogy is a highly advanced filament specifically designed for demanding applications in 3D printing. With a reinforcement of 15% glass fibers, this material offers a significant increase in strength, stiffness, as well as thermal and chemical resistance compared to conventional nylon. Its high stiffness of 3.6 GPa and temperature resistance of up to 170 °C make it ideal for use in areas such as automotive, medical, sports, and industrial applications. The filament is characterized by low shrinkage, resulting in high dimensional stability. Additionally, it does not require a heated build chamber, which facilitates handling. However, due to its abrasive properties, it is recommended to use hardened steel or ruby nozzles to minimize wear.
