The 7590 AX is the most powerful router with the best features and the fastest WLAN. The 7530 is a very good compromise between price and performance. The places in between are very well filled by the in-house Telekom router and the Asus. The latter clearly stands out from the rest in terms of security thanks to its DDoS attack protection.
The top routersFritzBox7590, 6690 and 5590 are suitable for large flats and houses thanks to their strong WLAN.With their wide range of functions, they can meet almost all requirements. For smaller households, the inexpensive 7530 AX, 6660 and 5530 offer enough power.
The Fritz Box 7510 is very cheap, but despite Wifi 6 it is not up to date: The speed is often only sufficient for slower DSL connections, without 5 gigahertz the WLAN is more susceptible to interference, and it lacks speed even for older devices. The 7530 AX is the better choice - it also operates at 5 gigahertz and is not expensive either.
The Fritz Box 7590 AX is an all-rounder that is suitable for many households with its fast WLAN, many functions and simple operation. If you don't want to spend so much and have less living space, go for the 7530 AX - which is also very energy-efficient. The current Speedport routers from Telekom offer more WLAN performance but fewer functions.
