The new Wi-Fi 6 standard takes account of the constantly growing number of Wi-Fi devices. From smartphones, tablets, PCs, 4K televisions and speakers to smart lamps, more and more devices are being used simultaneously on the Wi-Fi network. Thanks to Wi-Fi 6 with two radio units, data rates of up to 3,000 Mbps (2,400 Mbps / 5GHz + 600 Mbps / 2.4GHz) can be achieved. Wi-Fi 6 also ensures a better distribution of the available bandwidth. Wi-Fi Mesh combines several distributed Wi-Fi access points (e.g. FRITZ!Box and FRITZ!Repeater) into a single intelligent Wi-Fi network. The distributed FRITZ! devices exchange information with each other and optimise the performance of all WLAN devices. Intelligent technologies such as crossband repeating, band steering and the extended auto-channel ensure optimum Wi-Fi coverage at all times. This means that the best connection is always established where it is needed. Streaming, gaming and downloads can reach every corner of every room seamlessly and at top speed. The entire Wi-Fi network conveniently has just one name and password and is securely encrypted.

State-of-the-art encryption standards guarantee the security of privacy throughout the entire WLAN mesh. The housing LED allows you to determine the optimum position of the FRITZ!Repeater 1200 AX by displaying the wireless signal strength. The repeater is conveniently plugged into a socket, connected at the touch of a button and automatically added to the FRITZ! mesh. A Gigabit LAN connection is available for ultra-fast NAS connection, a LAN bridge or the connection of a network device without WLAN function.
