The GSLVLS is ideal for flat tripod heads and is developed to help the user level a standard tripod or fluid head to maintain the horizon and reduce time-consuming corrections after processing. Using the leveling base requires a 75mm ball adapter, which is available for all tripod legs in series 3, 4, and 5. The leveling base features a lightweight aluminum construction, adding a negligible weight of 0.8 lb to your existing tripod setup. The standard 3/8"-16 mounting screw for the upper tripod plate is compatible with most tripod heads and is connected with a locking lever to secure the head and prevent unwanted twisting.
