DSC technology is a visually lossless compression method used at very high resolutions, compressing the streamed video data. DisplayPort 2.0 (UHBR 13.5) can display 8K / UHD-2 at 144Hz with 4:4:4 / RGB color sampling (with DSC activated). The FEC ensures error-free transmission of the compressed DSC data.

The solid and shielded full metal plugs with gold-plated contacts guarantee an optimum connection. The locking protection attached to the plugs prevents accidental disconnection. The plugs are protected against corrosion by galvanization.
