The cable is suitable for 10/100/1000/10000Base-T Ethernet networks (10 Gigabit-capable) and has a 500 MHz RJ45 connector on both sides. It is an S/FTP cable with shielding that includes foil and braiding, and it has PiMF (cores in pairs in metal foil). The copper cores have an inner conductor of AWG 27 and an outer sheath diameter of 6.0 mm.

This cable is flame retardant according to IEC 60332-1 and halogen-free according to IEC 60754-2. It also has low smoke properties according to IEC 61034 and features gold-plated contact surfaces.
