Ideal lens protection made of optical glass, color neutral. MC8 coating features four layers on each side for high light transmission and maximum anti-reflection. It has a vapor-deposited multilayer coating. Both the filter front side and filter back side are coated, ensuring no loss of contrast and brilliance, while preventing ghosting and double images. The ultra-thin wide mount prevents vignetting and can remain permanently on the lens, extending the lens mount hardly at all. A protected front lens saves expensive repair costs. The filter is made of optical glass with a black anodized metal filter mount and blackened inner edges to prevent reflections. Edge sealing protects against dirt, and the frame retains its shape despite temperature fluctuations.
