The extensively tested HP LTO Ultrium data cartridges meet all requirements and are characterized by high reliability in data recovery, high storage density, easy manageability, and expandable storage and backup performance. LTO Ultrium includes six storage generations – LTO-1 (200 GB), LTO-2 (400 GB), LTO-3 (800 GB), LTO-4 (1.6 TB), LTO-5 (3 TB), and LTO-6 (6.25 TB). With transfer speeds of up to 1.4 TB/h at LTO-6, there is always a platform for every requirement and budget. Starting from LTO-3, LTO Ultrium WORM data cartridges enable the creation of compatible, permanent, and tamper-proof archives. From LTO-4 onwards, secure AES-256 encryption provides an even higher level of data security and compliance with the strictest industry-specific regulations to prevent unauthorized data access. From LTO-5 onwards, the use of tape drives is made possible thanks to the LTO Ultrium Linear Tape File.
