Product details
The Intel Data-Direct I/O technology is a platform technology designed to enhance the efficiency of I/O data processing for the provision and utilization of data from I/O devices. With Intel Data-Direct I/O technology, Intel server adapters communicate directly with the processor cache, bypassing the system memory, which reduces latency, increases the system's I/O bandwidth, and lowers energy consumption.
The Intel Ethernet Power Management technology offers solutions for traditional power management approaches by reducing idle power consumption, lowering capacity and power usage as a demand-based function, operating at maximum energy efficiency whenever possible, and enabling functionality only when needed.
Single Root I/O Virtualization includes the native (direct) sharing of a single I/O resource among multiple virtual machines. Single Root I/O Virtualization provides a mechanism through which a single root function (for example, a single Ethernet port) can be presented as multiple separate physical devices.
