You can switch filters in less than two seconds to adapt to the light and capture the perfect photo. Even better now, the edge of the filter has a specific color, depending on its density or filter type. For example, an ND1000 will have a red edge, while the polarizing filter will be gray. This makes it easy to find the right filter in your bag and save time. The Revolution system introduces another important innovation, the inlaid ring, which is a recessed ring that screws into the internal thread of your camera. With this inlaid ring, there is no more excess thickness, and your filter will be flush with your lens, helping to limit vignetting on your wide-angle lenses. The filter comes with a traditional magnetic ring, while the inlaid ring must be ordered separately. As always, you can stack the magnetic filters on top of each other. The glass of the filters remains the same with state-of-the-art coatings that ensure excellent color management (no color dominance) and shock resistance thanks to the tempered glass.
