Units with PCAP sensing can also be sealed to meet the requirements of IP65 ingress protection. Since the design and assembly of Elo are strictly controlled, this touchscreen offers high reliability. A wide range of pioneering single-touch and multi-touch technologies is available, including the proven IntelliTouch SAW (Surface Acoustic Wave) sensing for single-touch. Alternatively, the latest TouchPro PCAP sensing (with projected capacitive technology through glass) for multi-touch is available behind a double glass arrangement. It offers excellent interactivity in a borderless zero-bezel display with up to ten simultaneous touches, similar to tablets. As these touch technologies also respond accurately behind glass, operation with latex and fabric gloves is possible.
