Maertz Filament
PETG, 2.85 mm, 750 gProduct details
Maertz PETG is a popular and high-quality 3D printing material based on polyethylene terephthalate. The "G" in the name PETG stands for a modification with glycols / glycols. This additive provides greater impact strength and abrasion resistance. In addition to PLA and ABS, PET, but also PETG, has established itself over the last few years as a popular and widely used solution. All Maertz filaments come on cardboard spools as standard. These spools can be disposed of and recycled in a standard household waste paper container. In addition, Maertz PETG consists of so-called "post-industrial" recycling material. In earlier versions it was therefore also called PIPG, i.e. post-industrial PETG. Even though we are of course aware of the consequences of plastic in the environment, Maertz tries to counteract this as far as possible with the idea of recycling and, as far as possible, develop sustainable products. Maertz PETG filament is ideally suited for various applications in everyday use. Thanks to its higher load-bearing capacity and temperature resistance of up to 80°C, supports and devices for private users can be easily realized with PETG. In the industry, comparable plastics can be found for example in drinking bottles, films, packaging and rescue blankets.
