This adapter plate has been specifically designed to prevent unwanted rotations of the spotting scope during observation. The term "Universal" indicates that it can be used with all types of spotting scopes on tripod heads 700RC2 and 701RC2, regardless of the foot construction (square, rectangular, trapezoidal). The plate is made of machined aluminum with a black anodized finish. In addition to the standard 1/4" threaded screw, it features two set screws for secure attachment of the scope.
