The mechanism for repositioning the center column to the horizontal position is integrated into the tripod shoulder and can be quickly and easily extended when needed. Moving the center column from vertical to horizontal is possible without the tedious disassembly of the tripod. The camera can even remain attached to the tripod.

The tripod is very compact due to its 4 leg extensions: thanks to the space-saving new mechanism for the horizontal center column and the 4 leg extensions, the packed size of the tripod has been reduced by 16 cm compared to previous models of the 190 – a blessing for all traveling photographers. The individual tripod legs can be quickly extended, individually adjusted, and securely locked using the leg quick releases. Thanks to the special design of the leg quick releases, you can conveniently and securely operate the individual locks with one hand.

At the top of the center column, there is a built-in bubble level that assists you in precisely adjusting the framing. The bubble level can rotate freely around the center column. When setting up the tripod, it can be easily positioned in a way that is clearly visible to you, without obstructing the view from a head or camera, or interfering with controls for the head or camera. The tripod shoulder features an Easy Link connector for attaching photo or video accessories, such as LED lights, flash units, reflectors, or other equipment, on an extendable arm or mount. This allows you to transform the tripod into an extremely practical, mobile studio.
