Metz Connect splice box equipped OpDATfix 12E2000 OS2: further details include a 19 inch, 1U fibre optic patch panel for fixed installation, equipped with E2000 couplings and E2000 pigtails. Pigtails have a compact core of 0.9 mm, come in 12 colours, and have secondary and primary coatings of the same colour, with a length of 2.0 m. Pigtails are inserted and set down in a standard splice cassette with crimp-splice holders. The lightweight aluminium construction features a sheet steel front panel (available in grey or black), with unused cut-outs closed with blind plugs. The removable front panel allows for easy coupling assembly and is service-friendly with a screwed cover. There are several cable entry options at the rear (fastening with PG13.5, PG16, and PG21, respectively M20 and M25), and one cable entry PG16 is enclosed. Variants are available equipped with 12 or 24 E2000 couplings and pigtails, each blue (OS2) or E2000 APC couplings and pigtails, each green (OS2).
