The NZXT KRAKEN X61 features a 280mm format with a dual radiator, where cooling performance and the resulting noise are not only regulated by the fan speed of the included 140mm fans but also by the motor speed of the pump, which can range from 2,400 to 3,600 RPM. The pump is integrated into the CPU water block at the back, which sits on the AMD or Intel processor with its copper surface.

On the back of the water block, the X61 also showcases another unique feature of NZXT's complete water cooling solutions: the HUE lighting system. The RGB LEDs of the HUE system allow for the NZXT logo and surrounding lines to be illuminated in a variety of colors according to personal preference, making a striking impression on the motherboard.
