UDIMM:

• 32GB RAM (8 x 4GB ECC UDIMM)

RDIMM:

• 128GB RAM (8 x 16GB RDIMM)

LRDIMM:

• 256GB RAM (8 x 32GB LRDIMM)

ECC DIMM, Registered DIMM, and Load Reduced LRDIMM memory modules must not be mixed. Therefore, when upgrading, you should know what memory is already present or completely upgrade to RDIMM memory.

Principles of memory configuration:

• There are 4 memory channels per CPU, each with 1 memory slot.
• ECC DIMM, Registered DIMM, and Load Reduced LRDIMM memory modules must not be mixed.
• Memory slots without a processor present must not be populated.
• For good system performance: Distribute the memory evenly across the memory slots and evenly across the CPUs. If more than one CPU is present, the memory should be configured identically (mirrored to the other CPU) per CPU.
