The WLAN-61 is a dual-band Wi-Fi MIMO antenna developed by Poynting Antennas, capable of connecting to any Wi-Fi access point, whether it uses older Wi-Fi technology or the latest dual-band Wi-Fi technology. Multiple dual-band antennas can address channel saturation and provide the highest level of Wi-Fi performance and flexibility. This 4x4 MIMO antenna features four different antenna orientations within a single housing. This means that the antenna can be used in a 2x2, 3x3, and, if needed, 4x4 antenna configuration.

The wide beamwidth ensures good coverage in offices, halls, factories, and more. The antenna operates in the two Wi-Fi frequency bands of 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz, providing excellent utilization of the radio spectrum. The antenna has a gain of 9 dBi in the 2.4 GHz band and a gain of 11 dBi in the 5 GHz band, offering optimal performance with a reliable connection. The housing is made of ABS, a highly impact-resistant plastic that is also resistant to acids and other chemicals that may be present in industrial facilities.

The antenna can be opened on the side where the 4 x SMA sockets are located. The cable can be routed through the bypass fitting, eliminating the need for connections to antenna extension cables. This reduces connector losses and the necessity to seal and waterproof connectors during outdoor installations. This antenna is designed for installations requiring 4x4 (four independent streams) multiplexing time-space technologies. It can be used indoors and outdoors and is ideal for use in warehouses, manufacturing facilities, construction sites, or other environments that require Wi-Fi connectivity for devices such as computers, mobile phones, tablets, and other IoT devices.
