The Purefil PLA-R (Recycling) is made from 100% recycled material. Additionally, recycled spools are used, which means that used spools are refilled with new material. Therefore, the spool may differ from the image.
Polylactic acid is a polymer that consists, among other things, of lactic acid molecules. Currently, we offer PLA filament in 1.75 mm and 2.85 mm. A heated bed is advantageous for PLA filament, but not strictly necessary. We recommend using a cooling fan when processing PLA filament.
Furthermore, PLA is characterized by more pleasant odor properties compared to other plastics during processing. However, the temperature at which PLA begins to soften is relatively low.
