If one were to read the product description, the question would be superfluous on the one hand, and on the other hand, if one has a little knowledge of physics and technical understanding, the question would also be superfluous.
Hi Finnyly, Yes, for example, but 1x RGB splitter, 1x PWM splitter are already included in the scope of delivery, so if you have a FAN connection on the mainboard and only want to connect the 3 fans that are included in the scope of delivery, the splitter (3 to 1) is sufficient. The connector for fans is 4-pin (PWM) and RGB is 3-pin (5V !).
Greetings Claudio
As in the pictures, you can only see the RGB ring on the suction side; on the pressure side, where the air flows out, there is no continuous RGB ring.
However, the ring on the suction side can be seen indirectly through the rotating rotor blades.
I have a Lian Li dynamic XL, and have installed radiators at the bottom and top, whereby cold air is sucked in at the bottom and warm air flows out at the top. Accordingly, I had to mount the lower fans "upside down". I like it very much so far, the more indirect lighting makes it less obtrusive in my eyes, and with the cool sticker with a mountain top it is mega stylish.
According to BeQuiet, the pure base 500 has 140mm fans installed, so I would also recommend this size of Alpenföhn fan.
Wiring: Each fan has a fan cable and a 5V RGB cable. The scope of delivery also includes a splitter cable for four fans and one for four RGB connections.
