I am running the motherboard together with an AMD Ryzen 5 5600X with the following RAM:
2x Kingston Server-Memory KSM32ED8 16GB
Kingston Server-Memory KSM32ED8/16HD 1x 16 GB (1 x 16GB, 3200 MHz, DDR4-RAM, DIMM)
Runs perfectly, ECC is recognised, memtest86 could not detect any errors. I can therefore recommend it without reservation.

Unfortunately, Ryzen 1800x will not run. I tested it with a Ryzen 2700 and the board won't boot with it.

Nowhere, you first have to install an Amd 3000 CPU, then you can go into the BIOS and update to a 5000 CPU. Shut down the computer again, install your 5500 CPU and reboot. Install the operating system and the place should run

As of BIOS version 1.6 from 03/2021, the 5000 G series is supported, which was no problem for me.
