I received a motherboard with a bricked BIOS. I spoke to ASUS support who were excellent. They asked me to make an RMA return under warranty. Hopefully Digitec will be as responsive for the price of this mobo.

For this Maximus XII Extreme motherboard, do I have to buy a 3 slot NVLINK or a 4 slot NVLINK to put two RTX 3090 graphics cards?

Here is the answer from our responsible department: According to the information gathered from suppliers and manufacturers, the customer would need a suitable NVLink bridge specifically for the RTX 3090. The 2x00 series NVLinks are not compatible, and the size must be a 3 slot NVLink for the RTX 3090. Unfortunately, we do not sell them.

Hello Digitec team I would like to ask a question about ASUS ROG-NVLINK for this motherboard. There are two models of ASUS ROG-NVLINK (3 and 4), which one fits for ASUS ROG Maximus XII Extreme if I want to use two Asus 2080ti graphics cards? Thanks in advance

You need the NV link, which is 3 slots wide.

Hey, I have a question. Do you know if a ROG Maximus XII Extreme (305mm x 277mm) fits into a ROG Strix Helios? In the specifications it says that max. 30,48cm x 27,68cm E-ATX fits in. Would not like to give up the board :'( Kind regards

Will 2 RTX 3090s fit on it (the ROG cards) as they are already really big and this distance between the graphics cards looks a bit small to me. Or do you have to use risers for the graphics cards?

Unfortunately no... wanted to do SLI with 2080ti, but the cards would barely have room to breathe. The MB is 3 slot SLI... very tight
