If I have a router from Swisscom (the white one) and buy this router from Asus, do I still need the router from Swisscom or how does that work?

I have this router on the first floor. On the second floor, however, I have hardly any reception or only very weak reception. Is a repeater worthwhile here or would I have to buy a second red one? In any case, I want there to be only 1 wifi.

I would like to use this router as a second router in my house via a second network socket. Chip says that this is very easy, you only have to deactivate the DHCP server on one of the two routers. However, I would like to have 2 networks later, i.e. not just one WLAN, but 2. Is this possible with this solution from Chip and is it really that simple?

Ah, now I understand your concern! So going via the mains is a very good idea, it works easily and quickly! I bought a system from DEVOLO 10 years ago (for exactly the same reason). It works great!

In most reviews it is always written that the configuration is difficult... how difficult is it to actually get the best setup? Maybe there are some network specialists here who use the router.

I did not configure it myself. A friend had to do it for me. In general, I'm not very good at configuring new devices and would never have dared to even try. Whether I have the best setup or not, I can't say. But it works very well. Never had any problems. The friend who did it knows about such things and for him it was not difficult, as far as I know. That's all I can say about it.

Has anyone got this router working with the Sunrise Sagemcom modem? Unfortunately I have no internet after setting up... Via Lan and Wlan

The router is in the basement, so the wifi on the upper floors is too weak.... Can I connect the Asus RT-AC3200 with a network cable via the computer socket and use it as a repeater?

If it's just a router from UPC, then sure. However, I believe that the model described by UPC is a modem, which must then be able to operate in bridge mode to control the ASUS router. If this is not possible, it should be replaced free of charge by UPC. See also an article in PC Tip from the last few months.

If you mean the Horizon Box. YES, it works very well. Let the AC3200 do everything and then it's good :-)
