CM stands for Cable Management at be quiet!, i.e. a partial modular power supply unit with fixed standard cables that you need anyway and separate cables that you can connect additionally depending on the components.

The lengths of the internal cable connections vary depending on the connection type. The ATX power connector has a length of 55 cm, the CPU connector 60 cm. The SATA power cables have lengths of 500, 650 and 800 mm. The PCI Express power cables are 50 cm long.

When changing from a be quiet Pure Power 11 500W to a 700W model, the pin assignment of the cables generally remains the same. There are a few important points to note here: - The cables such as ATX motherboard (20+4-pin), P4+4 (CPU), and the PCI-Express cables have the same pin assignment and are therefore compatible. - However, the number and type of cables may vary, especially for the PCI Express connectors, as the 700W model provides more PCI Express connectors for multi-GPU systems. - The cables on both models are equipped with premium black sleeves and have flat rate cables for the PCI Express and drive connections, which makes installation and cable management easier. So you don't need to buy new cables unless you need additional PCI Express connectors, which are supplied with the 700W model.

The power cable on a PC power supply unit is plugged in. If you have another one from another device that fits, you can use that too. However, you can still complain to Digitec Support and have a correct cable sent to you. see below - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - Digitec is obliged to supply electrical appliances with a Swiss plug. If the appliance has a foreign plug, a suitable replacement cable should be supplied if the mains cable is pluggable or, alternatively, a suitable adapter if the mains cable is permanently connected. If the appliance is delivered without a suitable plug, complain to the customer service and insist on a cable or an adapter, free of charge. That seems to be more of a coincidence based on the other questions. So you have 3 options: - Wait and see what's inside (you can possibly do this directly at the checkout). - Buy one in addition - You always have 100 of these things lying around anyway. Just take one of them

Your alternative is the "same" power supply unit but with the suffix CM for Cable Management. So it has no cable harness, but plugs on the housing. It might look a bit "tidier", but has more contact resistance and possible weak points. I chose this power supply for a Fujitsu D3644-B mainboard because it has to cope with very different and low loads on the different outputs due to DC-DC converters. So far it does... greetings, gnasch
