It's like this. The On/Off button on the unit switches off the "large" power supply unit or the "Auto PowerOff function" switches the unit off automatically if only the USB interface is used. The small residual current is needed to restart the unit via the button.
Fortunately, the device is a b/w laser printer and can therefore be switched off without any problems via the mains cable or power strip without any consequential problems (e.g. a lot of ink consumption due to cleaning).
Crass, the postage is even more expensive :-)
This printer has a LAN port, USB port but it does not have Wi-Fi.

Indeed this model works with an ethernet cable (which is not included in the boxed content). The models ending with W are with wireless network connection.

Correct, this machine can "only" print. If you click on "Cancel" in your customer account quickly enough, you can still trigger the cancellation.
no it's not wireless. and it doesn't say wireless anywhere on the manufacturer's website. only USB and LAN
the 2340DW is a wifi model.
